About one week ago, I traveled to Kalsoy with three friends of mine. We started our adventure at 7 in the morning, which for the weekend was extremely hard to get up. We drove one hour, through three islands, blasting Lukas Graham, to get to Klaksvík. From there we bought coffee to get us ready for the day. We took a boat for 20 mins. to get to the island of Kalsoy. Once we arrived in Kalsoy we drove for a while through the four tiny villages on the island, watching the sunrise over the other islands. After a couple wrong turns, we arrived in the village that the statue Kópakona was. We then walked down the icy stairs to see Kópakona. We, of corse, had to have a photo shoot by the statue. She was prettier and taller then I thought she would be. After walking around for a couple more hours, we got back into the car to explore the island more. Kalsoy is a long, narrow island that has so many sheep roaming freely. It was a great adventure spent with great friends.
